This anime series caught my attention when I was
browsing journals in deviantart. The deviant (which people call other people in the deviantart community) wrote that this is a must see anime of the year. He gave youtube links of some of the earliest episodes. The fact that it's a Gainax production makes me eager to see this anime. Ok, enough with the history..
What is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann or TTGL for short means 'Heaven Shattering Crimson Face', is a coming of age mecha shonen anime. It's about a boy who have spiral power to dominate even the universe. This series have interesting and unusual plots. (You have to see it yourself if you wanna know what I mean.)
The story...
This anime is divided into two main parts. The first part is about the main characters facing the spiral king who make mankind live underground for more than a century.. which makes more sense than the second part about fighting the anti-spiral being, superior being that search spiral being from any planet in the whole galaxy and eliminate them to stop them from evolving for their greater good.
This greenish mecha is a form of human's passion.
I love this anime, even repeat the 5 last episodes for a couple of time. So basically, watch this anime. If you're a guy you'll know what real man really is after you'd see this.
